What's Involved?
Champions of the Gym has 6 Tests to decide who's the best. All decribed on individual pages on this section of the site.
Competitors have 1 (ONE) Attempt only at each test over a maximum time period of 3 minutes each.
Exercise Tests MUST be completed in the following order unless otherwise stated by organisers on the day.
Exercise Tests MAY be substituted by the organisers on the day subject to equipment issues.
The organisors and judges decisions on the day are final.
The highest points scoring Male and Female Competitors on the day shall become thewabba.fitness Champions of the Gym.
The Exercise Order:
1: Dynamic Strength Test: Chins
2: Dynamic Strength Test: Dips
3: Static Strength Test: DB Lateral Raise and Hold
4: Explosive Power Test: Deadlift or BB Squat
5: 1km Cardiovascular Test: Treadmill, Rower or Bike covering a distance of 1Km (1000m)
6: Core Strength Test: Roman Chair Hip Flexion

Who Can Enter?
BOTH Men and Women aged 16 or over who are fit, active and 100% mobile.

Regional Championships are held across the country at the following locations:-
Scotland West Coast: Stranraer
Scotland Strathclyde: Glasgow
England East Coast: Norwich
England East Midlands: Newark
England West Midlands: Worcester
England South: Milton Keynes
England South West: Torquay
Ireland and Wales : Venues TBC
What can i win?
Regional Male & Female Winners: Regional Champion of the Gym Title plus Medal, with 2nd and 3rd place Medals.
National Male & Female Winners: National Champion of the Gym Title, Trophy and Cash Prize, with 2nd and 3rd Place Medals and Cash Prizes.
