

DEADLIFT - The 4th Exercise Test shall be completed with BARE HANDS.
ABSOLUTELY NO baggy clothes covering the arms or legs, gloves, elbow supports, pads, foam, cloths, bands, wrist straps, hooks, grips, wedges under the heels, 'tacky' or any other means of grip or arm and shoulder assistance shall be permitted whatsoever.
LADIES BB WEIGHT: Equal to bodyweight
MENS BB WEIGHT: Equal to bodyweight
Upon Instruction from the judge, competitors will adopt the 'START POSITION'.
START POSITION:
Grip the Barbell using a grip whereby your arms are shoulder width apart (elbows soft).
A 'Power Grip' 'Classic Grip' or 'Underhand Supinated Grip' are all acceptable.
FINISH POSITION:
Stand Fully Upright with the Barbell until both the Torso and legs are straight.
The judge will give you the command 'Down'
Lower the Barbell back down to the ground until the weights are in contact with the floor
Dropping the Barbell counts as a 'No Rep'.
The judge will count out your repetitions as you reach the FINISH position of each movement.
The judge will shout out 'NO' on any repetition failing to START or FINISH in the correct position.
The judges decision on what is a completed or incomplete repetition is final.
Once begun, competitors repetitions must be completed within 3 minutes of starting.
Each completed repetition scores 1 Point.
